Position:
Multimedia Instructional Developer – Training and Operational Support

Reports to:
Program Manager
Job Description:
- Provide multimedia development support for high-profile government clients
-
Conduct research and create prototypes (to include graphics, animations, videos, and Web interfaces) for Web portals, mobile applications, and e-learning products
-
Collaborate and communicate with instructional designers and act as an advisor to the developing staff as to the best technical solution for the desired instructional outcome

Participate in planning processes in order to fully utilize the capabilities of all electronic media

Make recommendations regarding software upgrades and use of new innovations

Participate in the design, development, and implementation of the company’s professional development program

Create interactive graphics/animations using available development tools
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of experience with developing user interface designs, Web-based training, mobile
applications, and other multimedia products

2+ years of experience teaching a foreign language or English in a classroom or virtual classroom environment

2+ years of experience developing or modifying advanced language courses or course materials
-
Proven proficiency in at least 3 web design programs, web programming languages and techniques to include: XML, PHP, HTML 5, JavaScript, Android SDK, Objective-C, JavaScript on mobile, J2ME.

Proven proficiency in Adobe Create Suite 4 or 5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dream Weaver)

Proven hands-on experience with graphics design packages, including Adobe Creative Suite's Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Freehand, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and 3D Studio Max

Knowledge of SCORM requirements and testing procedures

Ability to be a creative self-starter and work independently

Ability to learn new software and systems quickly

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
-
Interagency Language Round Table (ILR) level 3+ in English (professional-level proficiency) and an intermediate working proficiency in at least one foreign language (ILR level 2+ based on the DLPT)
Required Education:
- BA/BS degree in a related field such as Education, Computer Science or 4 years of comparable
directly related experience
Citizenship:
U.S. Citizenship Required
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
